about

This track imagines the story of an extremist Martyr reaching heaven. We follow how the idyllic image of a naked women, potentially killed during religious crusade, is distorted by the apprehensions of her the dead children.

lyrics

Her every move
Causes ripples flowing overhead
From the sheets that weave down
From her bed
And she lays there bare
Eyes glazed with an empty stare
Hands settling upon her breast
A signal to take all she has left

Her sacrifice
Reflective of your own
A gift for sins
You have atoned
Yet her beauty
Is merely lies
The truth is that
Shes dead inside

Quod caelum sit in inferno, Heaven is hell
Quod infernum sit in aeternum, Hell is eternal
Quod caelum sit in inferno, Heaven is hell
Quod infernum sit in aeternum, Hell is eternal

Fade in the silhouettes of dancing children
Surrounding the drapes and the alter your given
Their laughter growing ever distant
As the life drains out from the living

As the laugher begins to fade
All thats left is endless pain
She begins to cry out in vain
As we watch the childrens innocence being slain

Quod caelum sit in inferno, Heaven is hell
Quod infernum sit in aeternum, Hell is eternal
Quod caelum sit in inferno, Heaven is hell
Quod infernum sit in aeternum, Hell is eternal

A product sold for the price of innocence
Striving for perfection has led to this
For when we lust for ascension to heaven
It often leads to antithesis

This sacrifice is often willing
And for this you should not be forgiven
